When you think of flowers, you often think of them as the thing that you give to someone in celebration of a baby, after the loss of a loved one, or at a dance recital. When Kaitlyn Luce thought of flowers, she often thought of her grandfather and father digging their hands into the dirt and tending to their southeast Florida flower farm. Her great grandmother who was a florist owner in White City, FL also came to mind.

Floral design caught Kaitlyn off guard in the best way possible. It has felt like a coming home after years of working in the music industry using her logistical and detail-oriented brain. A few years ago, she took a workshop on flower arranging and it was then that something ignited within her. She started creating arrangements and giving them as gifts, taught workshops using those same skills she learned, and used floral arrangement as a form of her own self-care.

“I love that no two floral arrangements are the same. You can use the same elements in two arrangements, but they’re all one-of-a-kind. There is something about being creative in this way that just sets things right in my soul. Working with flowers is so peaceful, and it brings such joy to sit down and create something beautiful and unique each time.”

Kaitlyn Luce was born and raised in sunny southeast Florida, and has called Nashville, TN home for nearly six years. She has made a career in the music industry throughout her time in TN, and owns Florence Artist Management, and artist management company committed to helping independent artists grow. She enjoys gardening, cooking delicious food, spending time with friends, and a good concert.
